Timing Belts

Repair timings belts on your car or van.

The time belt is also known as the timing chain or cambelt and it helps in the synchronized rotation of the camshaft or crankshaft. The time belt helps to control the compression and moving up of the pistons for the exhaust and power intake cycles.

Can you hear strange noises?

  • Strange ticking sounds from the engine is a sign of time belt damage or oil pressure fluctuations.
  • Leakage of oil from the motor due to the wearing away of the gasket between engine blocks and the timing covers. It can also be caused due to corrosion and cracking or a bad installation.
  • Engine fire malfunction can be caused by a damaged time belt which can lead to major car damage.
  • Problems with the engine ignition
  • Quick loss of engine power and unexpected breakdown

Our services and solutions are effective and economical.

In case of timing belt problems, it is recommended to replace the belt entirely and not re-install a belt that has already been used before. It is recommended to change the timing belt if the car has already run a mileage of about 60,000 to 100,00 miles. Never use a time belt that bears signs of cracks or splits. If coated with an oily substance, replace immediately.
